Casino Pier & Breakwater Beach Announces New Rides, Slides & Attractions For 2015

Even in the winter month Jersey Shore attractions continue to grow and make the Jersey Shore Experience better and better. Casino Pier & Breakwater Beach Waterpark, one of the top Jersey Shore family destinations, plans for more fun and thrills in 2015.  Breakwater Beach is a state-of-the-art water park with one of the largest interactive play area on the North Atlantic Coast. The renovation of “Jenkinson’s Breakwater Beach Waterpark at Casino Pier” (Formally Water Works) offers our customers a fun and exciting family attraction. The renovations include:

Multi-level 36-hole Mountain Miniature Golf

Casino Pier will create a brand new 36-hole, multi-level mountain miniature golf course where guests will enjoy challenging holes, waterfalls, great views and a fun layout on its location on the corner of Ocean Terrace and Sherman Avenue.

Go-Kart Track Expansion
The Seaside Speedway Go-Kart track is a top attraction at Casino Pier and we are excited to make it even better for 2015. The Go-Kart track will be expanding with a new vision for the track. A new pit location and a larger track will allow guests added twists and turns to enhance their racing ability and test their driving skills.

Breakwater Beach Waterpark Adding a Wave Pool and Two Slides

slideAs guests have been waiting for, Breakwater Beach will be adding an all new wave pool! It will be great fun for adults and kids making them feel like they are swimming in the ocean with the artificially generated waves. The wave pool will be integrated with the waterfall area of the new mountain Miniature Golf course. Two new slides, one speed slide and the other a serpentine design, will be added to Breakwater Beach as well. The mountain Miniature Golf is replacing the original Dockside Grill location, and a new food and beverage location, with a seashore town themed design, will be located in the center area of the waterpark.

Casino Pier is working with state and local authorities in order to obtain approvals for expansion on the north end of the existing pier. The new expansion will incorporate the area for a new roller coaster as well as a Ferris wheel and is in the planning stages for a 2016 opening. A new Double Shot Drop Tower will be added to the area of the present North entrance to Casino Pier and opening in Spring of 2015.

Demolition and building has already begun. Our social media platforms will be the best sources for updates on the progress of the renovations this winter.

breakwater beach2Starting with our Toddler Area, it is ideal for the smallest member of any family. With safe, soft play throughout, your little one will slide and have a splashtacular good time.

We have something for everyone. Our Family Play Section is a totally interactive multi-level area for everyone from 3 to 103. With our water slides you will find a different experience with each twist and turn. Also, with hundreds of interactive play elements and dancing fountains you will not stay dry for long. All while having fun with your family and creating life long memories. Watch Out for the Nantucket Bucket (try and guess how much water it drops every two minutes! It’s a lot!!!). If after playing you are feeling a little chilly, jump into one of two Hot Springs that will easily fit 20 people each.

For the brave at heart, test our Zero – Gravity Racer. This 6 Lane Racing Slide lets you compete against others as you plummet on a mat to the finish line. Forget relaxing in our Lazy Crazy River … with cannons being shot off, bubbles coming from every direction and depth charges shooting you with water; you will never know what will be around the next curve. If you do want to relax, you can recline in one of our many lounge chairs throughout the park. Our other amenities include, bathrooms, lockers, changing areas, food concession, and a gift shop for all your needs. As always, NASCO trained lifeguards are on duty to safely monitor all water activities.

Breakwater Beach is a 2009 recipient of the Kelly Olge Memorial Safety Award from the World Waterpark Association for significant contribution to guest and employee safety.
